R Stent EVOLUTION™2 is Orbus's new RX coronary stent delivery system. While retaining the unique qualities of the R-Stent, implemented features on the new delivery system include swaged markers and balloon fusion sealing resulting in smooth crossability and flexible trackability. The product range includes diameter from 2.5x4.0mm in length of 9-33mm. The R Stent EVOLUTION™2 comes in a rapid exchange (RX) delivery system that is 0.014" guidewire compatible.

Inspired by DNA's Dual Helix Design

1. Helical Design

- Natural conformability
- Outstanding Flexibility
- Radial Strength > 25 psi

2. Squared Ends

- Lesion coverage
- Accurate placement
- Minimal foreshortening < 1%

3. Thinner Struts

- Strut Dimensions : .0035"(.09mm) X .0040"(.10mm)
- Clinical Benefit 1 : Thinner struts potentially reduce trauma from lower stent deployment pressure.
Evolution 2's nominal pressure is 9 atm.
- Clinical Benefit 2 : Thinner stent struts potentially lowers late lumen loss (and thus restenosis rates).

Unsurpassed Sidebranchability

Excellent Side branch Access

Smooth crossability and flexible trackability
- Swaged marker bands flushmounted with shaft for smooth crossability
- Fusion sealing eliminates bulky, stiffening adhesives for flexible trackability
